Did you know that www (the bit that comes before the internet sites eg 14degrees.org) actually stands for World Wide Waste of Time?

Well sometimes you see something that does have the potential to change you life. How to build an igloo is one such example. Video below originally seen linked to from Ben Saunders’ excellent polar adventure blog.

Hey Rob, it was very cool to meet you on the ferry from Wellington. You might remember me as the other cyclist on the boat. You sure do know how to have adventures. I finally found some pictures of your skateboard setup. What a concept – what a life. Now you are back in Chch you should come over for a kai sometime. Drop me an email.

Hi Rob,

Great to hear that you made it home. Stop for a moment, relax, take it all in, and then off to accomplish your plans.

I finally got internet hooked up again in my apartment so I just went through your last couple of weeks. Good times, as always.

I also made it through the first 3 weeks of my new job at Toyota Technical Devcelopment. Wow. I have never really been this tired after a day of translating. There are times when I feel like my brain is getting overheated almost.

Looking forward to the new year break. Freezing cold here in Nagoya, but no hint of snow. Still didn't stop me from going for my run this morning though.

Have a great Christmas with your family!

I just happened to come across your site, and whoah… you did pretty damn close to what I'd love to do someday.

I'm currently a second-year JET in Fukushima-ken and do shorter bicycle tours of the area when time and money permit, but going around the world… that's a bit further in the future.
