If you've got some inside info on greece, let Rob know by posting your thoughts below. He's after some great places to see, comfortable places to sleep, yummy places to eat...not to forget areas to avoid too!

Hey Rob! I think I already wrote about my proposal. When you are cycling from Istanbul along the greek coastline, there is a part that looks like a hand with three fingers and there are the Meteora Cloister.

Wikipedia says; The Meteora (Greek: Μετέωρα, "suspended rocks" or "suspended in the air") is the largest and most important complex of monasteries in all of Greece, second only to Mount Athos.[1] The monasteries are built on spectacular natural sandstone rock pillars at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly, near the Peneios river and Pindus Mountains, in central Greece. The Meteora is home to six monasteries and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Look that up and DON'T SHAVE YOUR BEARD BEFORE YOU ARRIVE THERE!!! Maybe you need to make a reservation by call or online some weeks before.

Have fun!

Achim
