Days 659 and 660 – CHINA (XINJIANG): Chilling out in Urumqi

Sleep, eat, sleep, do equipment maintenance, sleep, eat, update website, eat, sleep. That is the order of things on rest days.

I tagged along with Marija to pick her bike up from the train staion and to get some small bits and pieces from a bike shop in Urumqi. The bike shop guys were naturally very interested in her recumbent…

    Hi Rob,

Enjoy your rest days, you sure have earned them. Hopefully the frustrating parts will take a back seat for a while once the visa clears. We all know you are a man on a mission, but please do refrain from pushing yourself too hard if possible. That may end your trip earlier than you want.
